Dunedin Woman Killed In Crash 4th Of July Weekend

DUNEDIN, FL — A 39-year-old Dunedin woman died Saturday following an accident on County Road 1 approaching Manning Road.

According to the Florida Highway Patrol, at 9:50 a.m. the Dunedin woman was driving south on County Road 1, approaching Manning Road, when she lost control, rotated and collided with an SUV driven by a 61-year-old Dunedin man. The Dunedin man's SUV then struck a passenger bus driven by a 40-year-old Palm Harbor man.

All three vehicles rotated and came to rest in the northbound lanes and shoulder of the road.

The Dunedin woman died at the scene. The other two drivers sustained minor injuries.
