Former Church Youth Leader Accused Of Sexually Molesting Teen
A church youth leader has been charged with two felony counts of lewd and lascivious molestation.

DUNEDIN, FL -- A church youth leader has been charged with two felony counts of lewd and lascivious molestation after being accused of having sexual contact with a 15-year-old girl.
The Pinellas County Sheriff's Office arrested Heather Matuszek, 32, of San Mateo Drive in Dunedin on June 12 in Dunedin, for incidents that occurred at a home in Pinellas County between Aug. 1, 2014 and April 1, 2015.
The investigation began on March 25 after the now-19-year-old victim filed a complaint with the sheriff's office.

Detectives say the victim reported that Matuszek, who was 28 years old at the time, was the victim's church youth leader at the Clearwater Community Church.
Detectives said it was not uncommon for youth leaders to spend time with their groups outside of the church setting. The victim, who was 15 years old at the time, said Matuszek spent the night in the her bed on two occasions. Each time, the victim said Matuszek had inappropriate sexual contact with her. The victim said there were other incidents that occurred outside Pinellas County.

Matuszek no longer attends the Clearwater Community Church.
On June 12, Matuszek was interviewed by detectives at the Sheriff's Administration Building in Largo, and they say she admitted to the allegations.
Detectives say it's possible there are more victims in this case. Anyone who believes their child may be a victim or has information regarding this case is asked to contact the Crimes Against Children Unit at (727) 582-6006.
