Waterspout Sighted Over Dunedin

The National Weather Service confirmed a waterspout formed in the area Monday evening.

A waterspout is spotted over Dunedin near the intersection of Curlew Road and Alternate U.S. 19., around 7 p.m. Monday.

A tornado warning is now canceled for Dunedin, Safety Harbor and Palm Harbor.

This water spout sighting was captured on camera from Frenchy's Outpost Bar & Grill by Mathew Eberius.

The National Weather Service confirmed a waterspout formed Monday and could be seen in the Westchase, Oldsmar and Dunedin areas, meteorologist Rodney Wynn told Patch.

A Westchase Patch reader there shared photos and video of the water spout.

In Clearwater, a reader shared a photo of what looked like a funnel cloud seen from U.S. 19.
