Kroger Enters FL Market Delivering Groceries To St. Pete Shoppers
St. Petersburg residents will be the first Florida shoppers to get a taste of Kroger, one of the biggest grocery store chains in the nation. The chain has arrived in Tampa Bay with an automated customer fulfillment center using robots to fill orders for delivery.
2 South FL Men Accused In Killing Of Haitian President: Report
Haitian authorities have arrested two South Florida men they say participated in the assassination of Haiti's President Jovenel Moïse. Moïse was assassinated as his home outside the country's capital, Port-au-Prince, early Wednesday. His wife was also injured in the attack.

Rotten Fish Bodies From Red Tide Foul Bay, City Cleans Up
A rotted body of a flounder that weighed about 250 pounds washed ashore as a seemingly infinite amount of fish carcasses since they died from red tide. The foul mess was picked up Friday morning by St. Pete city crews. Hundreds of dead fish, eels, stingrays and horseshoe crabs covered the shoreline of Flora Wylie Park, 1400 N. Shore Drive NE, in St. Petersburg Wednesday after Tropical Storm Elsa brought them closer to land, causing a massive stench for residents.

FL Condo Collapse: Rescue Workers Press On; 78 Dead, 62 Missing
Rescue workers now focused on finding remains instead of survivors in the rubble of a Florida condominium collapse vowed to keep up their search for victims until they cleared all the debris at the site. The death toll in the collapse of a Miami-area condo building rose to 78 on Friday as recovery workers toiled for a 16th day to find victims in the rubble. Another 62 people remain unaccounted for.

Binx, a cat missing for more than two weeks following the collapse of the Champlain Towers South condo in Surfside, was found alive Thursday. On Friday, he was reunited with his family.
Cause Of Death Of 7 African Penguins At Florida Aquarium Unknown
Necropsy results done on seven African penguins that died at The Florida Aquarium this week were inconclusive and the veterinary team at the aquarium is conducting more tests to try to determine the cause of the death.
