These Retailers Are Offering Black Friday Freebies

TAMPA BAY, FL -- Shoppers who brave the Black Friday rush could actually be rewarded.

Not only will they get some great deals but some stores and restaurants are handing out freebies to shoppers on Black Friday.

Here are some retailers that are giving away free gifts, food and coupons to those who line up outside stores early.

Bass Pro Shops

The outdoor supply retailer (which now owns Cabela’s) is offering several freebies throughout Black Friday weekend. On Thanksgiving Day through Sunday, kids get a free photo with Santa. The first 100 kids to be photographed with Santa get a free plush toy. On Saturday and Sunday only, receive a free photo package ($20 value) when you donate a new toy. See promo details.

Belk

The department store will be doing a gift-card giveaway for in-store shoppers on Thanksgiving at 4 p.m. and on Black Friday at 6 a.m. Gift cards will be valued from $5 to $500, with one $500 winner per store each day. See promo details.

Fred Meyer

The first 100 customers in line when stores open Friday at 5 a.m. get a free gift card (value varies). Plus get free coffee, juice and donuts. See promo details.

JCPenney

Those who line up in store early on Thanksgiving (doors open 2 p.m.) get a coupon for $10, $100 or $500 off (valid Nov. 22 to 24). See promo details.

Northern Tool & Equipment

The first 100 customers in line when stores open 6 a.m. on Black Friday receive up to $100 in instant savings. See promo details.

Petco

Free pair of holiday antlers for your dog or cat if you shop on Black Friday. At least one in-store purchase is required, and you must belong to the Pals Rewards loyalty program. See promo details.

Walmart

This year, Walmart is throwing a Light Up Black Friday party between 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. (deals start at 6 p.m.). Shoppers who show up early get free cookies and coffee. See promo details.

World Market

The first 100 customers in stores on Friday, Saturday and Sunday get a free tote bag and $10 certificate. See promo details.

Barnes & Noble

Stop by the cafe in your local store and enjoy buy one, get one free Starbucks drinks until 10 a.m. local time.

Macy's

The department store is offering several items for free after a rebate, including glassware sets, pearl earrings and slow cookers. Click here to see the full list.

Stein Mart

Get to Stein Mart early on Black Friday and search for the hanger with the gold hanger sticker. If you're the first to find it, you'll win either $500 or $5,000. A $500 gift card will be available in every store, but the $5,000 prize will only show up in one store. Additionally, the first 100 shoppers in the door before 10 am on Friday or Saturday will receive a gold scratch-off ticket. It could be worth $5, $25, or $100.
