The summer is winding down, but the folks at Brooker Creek Preserve are still holding events aimed at getting people outside and enjoying nature. The park is offering free wildlife hikes through the summer.
An experienced naturalist guides groups along the preserve's boardwalks and natural trails narrating and answering questions about wildlife.
Hikers are asked to bring binoculars, cameras, and questions. The hikes are free and happen weekly. To reserve your spot, simply go to the preserves events page and register.
