Trinity College vs. Johnson University

By Kandice Blackman

This week the Trinity Tigers had another double-header conference game against Johnson University. As both the Womens and Mens basketball traveled near central Florida (Kissimmee), they readjusted their mindset to come in strong despite the disadvantages. The Lady Tigers were short two key players which ultimately changed the outcome of the game. Last time the Suns and Tigers met, the Lady Tigers won a thrilling 80-81 overtime game! However, this matchup didn't go the way they wanted as the Suns beat the Tigers 77-59.

This was also a well-anticipating game after the Tigers won 64-63 last game. The idea of the men's team coming out with a win was short lived as the score was 25-9 early in the first half. With also two major players coming late to the game because of outside issues. With this overall 97-79 loss it put the Tigers in a questionable state. Trinity is hoping to see both teams win it all in their WNIT and NIT tournament coming up soon after regular season!
