City Of Oldsmar To Host Hurricane Expo

OLDSMAR, FL — A hurricane expo to help residents and businesses prepare for a predictably busy hurricane season will be held on Tuesday, July 13 from 5 to 8 p.m. inside TECO Hall at the Oldsmar Public Library.

From 6 to 7 p.m., Mike Boylan of Mike's Weather Page will give a presentation followed by a discussion panel featuring industry professionals from banking, insurance and mitigation.

Pinellas County Emergency Management, Pinellas County Animal Services and city staff will be on hand to provide assistance for ALERT Pinellas registration and with evacuation zones, flood zones, FEMA flood maps and other resources to help attendees prepare.

Raffle prizes of three hurricane kits will be given away.
