Cypress Woods Elementary PTA to Host Annual Eagle Gala - February 6
CWE PTA will host its Annual PTA Eagle Gala on Saturday, February 6 at Cypress Run Golf Club. Funds raised support PE, Arts and Music

PALM HARBOR, FL (December 14, 2015) – Cypress Woods Elementary Parent Teacher Association (CWE PTA) will host its Annual PTA Eagle Gala on Saturday, February 6 from 7 to 11 p.m. at Cypress Run Golf Club, 2669 St. Andrews Blvd, Tarpon Springs, Fla. The theme for this year’s event is That’s Amoré– For the Love of Education.
One of CWE PTA’s largest annual fundraisers, the Eagle Gala generates thousands of dollars to support teachers and enrich classrooms with technology and other needed resources. CWE PTA will focus a portion of the funds raised on the needs of the school’s physical education (PE), music and arts programs.
“Our PTA values the academic benefits of music, visual arts and physical education, as well as the important ways these courses enrich the social and emotional development of our students,” said Leona Wells, President of Cypress Woods Elementary PTA. “Too often, these are the education programs that lose funding. That’s why we are so thankful to generous parents and community partners who help CWE PTA to support these programs through fundraisers like our Eagle Gala.”
