East Lake Fire Rescue Hosts Fundraiser For Firefighter's Mother
The East Lake Fire Rescue will deliver curbside food orders and collect tips to help the critically ill mother of a fellow firefighter.
EAST LAKE, FL -- The East Lake Fire Rescue will deliver curbside food orders and collect tips to help the critically ill mother of a fellow firefighter.
In January, firefighter Howard Walker's mother, Rhonda, was diagnosed with a brain tumor and glioblastoma. She has already undergone multiple brain surgeries to remove tumors and has had multiple lengthy hospital stays. These funds will help cover medical bills.
Firefighters will be volunteering their time to take shifts at the Varsity Club. 36355 East Lake Road S., Palm Harbor, on March 4 from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. The firefighters will deliver curbside pickups for the Varsity Club and collect tips.
