East Lake Woman Sold Oxycodone, Marijuana to Undercover Detective, Deputies Say

According to arrest affidavits, Stephanov Nadezhda Poplavski, 23, sold the drugs to an undercover deputy over a two-day period.

An East Lake woman is accused of selling drugs to an undercover Pinellas County Sheriff's detective on two occasions, including one time in the parking lot of an East Lake business.

Pinellas County Sheriff's deputies arrested Stephanov Nadezhda Poplavski, 23, on July 16, 2013 on four drug charges.

According to arrest affidavits, Poplavski sold the drugs to an undercover deputy over a two-day period.

Deputies say Poplavski sold a detective a clear baggie containing 30 grams of marijuana for $275. The deal happened at 7:35 p.m. on January 31, 2012 in the parking lot of the 7-Eleven at 1290 East Lake Road.

Poplavski sold a detective five Oxycodone pills for $112 one evening later. according to deputies. This deal happened in the parking lot of the Westfield Countryside Mall at 27001 U.S. 19 in Clearwater.

Poplavski was arrested on July 16, 2013 and booked into the Pinellas County Jail on a felony charge of sale/delivery of Oxycodone, possession of a controlled substance (Oxycodone), possession of a controlled substance (marijuana) and sale of marijuana. She was released after posting $22,000 bond.
