Fourth of July: What's Open, What's Closed in East Lake

Pinellas County observes the Fourth of July.

The North Pinellas YMCA will be open on July 4 from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m.

The East Lake Community Library will be closed on July 4.

Pinellas County government offices will be closed on Thursday, July 4, in observance of Independence Day. Here's a rundown of what will be open and closed in the county on this day:

The courts of the Sixth Judicial Circuit (Pinellas and Pasco) will not be in session on Thursday, July 4, except for first-appearance advisory hearings and emergency situations. 

The Solid Waste Administration Building and HEC3 will be closed on Thursday, July 4.   The scalehouse/landfill will remain open.

The Florida Botanical Gardens and all county parks will remain open.

Annual beach and boat ramp parking permits will not be available for sale on Thursday, July 4, as the administrative offices of Parks and Conservation Resources will be closed.

The Environmental Education Center at Brooker Creek Preserve, the Cultural and Natural History Center at Weedon Island Preserve and Heritage Village are closed on Thursday, July 4.

The offices and adoption center at Pinellas County Animal Services will be closed on Thursday, July 4.

All Pinellas County facilities will resume regular hours of operation on Friday, July 5.
