PHOTOS: Keystone-East Lake Intersection Gets New Lights

The new traffic lights are part of a road widening project on Keystone Road that is scheduled to be finished this summer.

Crews worked in the rain on Tuesday to install new traffic lights at the intersection of Keystone and East Lake roads. The lights are part of a road widening project on Keystone Road that is scheduled to be finished this summer.

Be sure to drive carefully on East Lake Road near the intersection. That part of the road is being regraded and is a bit uneven.

The Keystone Road widening project also includes an extension that links the East Lake portion of the Pinellas Trail to Keystone Road. The trail then continues on U.S. 19.
