Lutz Man Drowns While Searching For Golf Ball At Country Club
The sheriff's office dive team has recovered the body of a missing Lutz man from a pond at the East Lake Woodlands Country Club.

OLDSMAR, FL — The Pinellas County Sheriff's Office dive team has recovered the body of a missing Lutz man from a pond at the East Lake Woodlands Country Club in Oldsmar.
On Friday, deputies were told that 74-year-old Hermilo Jazmines had gone missing while golfing with a friend at the country club.
At about 7:37 a.m., Jazmines teed off at hole three and was last seen looking for his ball near the green. Jazmines' golf cart was parked on the cart path and his putter was found lying on the ground near the pond.

Deputies searched the nearby wooded area and assisted the Oldsmar Fire Department in searching the edge of the pond. Finally, the dive team was called in and found Jazmines' body submerged in the pond.
Investigators say evidence suggests Jazmines fell into the water while searching for his ball. Friends told deputies that Jazmines liked to search the course for lost golf balls.

The medical examiner's office will conduct an autopsy to determine the cause of death.
