More Victims Step Forward In Dating Website Robbery Cases
Two of the three people arrested last week face new charges after more victims say they were robbed after using a popular dating website.
Oldsmar, FL -- Two of the three people charged in a recent armed robbery spree involving a popular dating website face additional charges after more victims stepped forward to speak with Pinellas County Sheriff’s detectives.
According to the sheriff’s office, victims in two new cases came forward after the initial arrests were reported. In the first two cases, the victims reportedly used the dating website Plenty of Fish to search for female companions. They communicated with a person on the website who identified herself as “Jessica” or “CurvyÂ_Cameron93,” the sheriff’s office wrote in an email to media.
“The victims and the suspects continued communication through text messages and agreed to meet the users in a room at the Bayview Motel,” the email said.
