OLDSMAR, FL — During the Aug. 4 Oldsmar City Council meeting, Mayor Eric Seidel officially kicked off a new promotion to encourage residents to wear proper face masks and coverings.

The Oldsmar Face Off Challenge will feature a different theme each week, uniquely presented by the mayor and council members. To enter the challenge, Oldsmar residents can post a photo of themselves and their families on their social media platforms using the hashtag #OldsmarFaceOffChallenge to show their weekly creations. Residents may also email their weekly entry to info@myoldsmar.com.

The challenge will officially launch on Monday, Aug. 10, and run for five weeks. A selection committee will determine a weekly winner, eligible for prizes donated by Oldsmar restaurants and businesses.
