Pinellas Sheriff Investigates Murder-Suicide In Oldsmar

OLDSMAR, FL -- Pinellas County Sheriff's detectives are conducting an investigation into what appears to be a murder-suicide in Oldsmar.

Deputies responded to a condominium at the Eastlake Woodlands Country Club in Oldsmar at 10:14 p.m. on Tuesday after being contacted by family members who were unable to reach a 52-year-old woman who lived there.

The family was concerned because the woman and her boyfriend had a history of domestic violence.

When deputies arrived, no one answered the door, so they made a forced entry and found the unnamed woman and Benjamin First, 51, dead of gunshot wounds.
