Happy Wednesday, East Lake!
We've almost made it through the first half of the week. Here's some fun stuff to help make your Wednesday a great day.
IOA Golf Classic
If you like golf (and we think you do because there are so many golf courses in East Lake!) you might want to venture over on the other side of the pond to Innisbrook where top young golfers will be competing in the LPGA's Symetra Tour "IOA Golf Classic" is going on. Wednesday and Thursday there is FREE admission for the Pro-Am. You can find more information here.

Powerball Fever
The payoff is up to $425 million for tonight's Powerball drawing. For folks thinking of buying a ticket at the same Publix where Gloria Mackenzie bought the ticket that won the $590 million jackpot, here are 11 things more likely to happen than winning Powerball. But, if you still need to get a ticket here are nearby locations selling tickets on the Florida Lottery website.
Bucs Game Blacked Out
If you were hoping to catch Thursday night's Buccaneers preseason game against the Baltimore Ravens, there's bad news. The game will be blacked out locally, according to TBO.com. You can watch a replay on WFLA at 7:30 p.m. on Friday night.
The good news is that there are plenty, and we mean plenty of good seats still available.
Want To Boo A-Rod?
Alex Rodriguez, who received a 211 game suspension from baseball, gets to play while he appeals the ruling. If you're looking for a chance to join thousands of other people at a stadium and yell your displeasure at him, you might get your chance at Tropicana Field in a few weeks. The Yankees play the Rays at The Trop starting on Aug. 23. Surely, we'll have seen some clever signs and chants from other fans by then.
