The Pinellas County Sheriff's Office is hoping surveillance video will lead them to a man suspected of burglarizing at least eight vehicles in East Lake last week.
The video appears to be from a security camera inside a garage. It shows a very calm man inside a vehicle. He is going through items in the vehicle and is carrying a bag.
The thief broke into the vehicles on Tuesday, May 7 between the hours of 1 and 6 a.m., according to detectives. Six of the vehicles were parked in the Ridgemoor subdivision and two others were parked near Cypress Cove Way, which is just north of Lansbrook. All vehicles were unlocked.
