Mock Drunk Driving Crash Aims to Educate Teens
East Lake Firefighters and other agencies staged a mock drunk driving car crash to educate teens about the dangers of drinking and driving.

Rescue workers warned would-be East Lake High School prom goers of the dangers of drunk driving last week.
On Friday, fire crews from the East Lake Special Fire Control District staged a mock drunk driving car crash in front of the junior and senior classes at East Lake High School. Â Fire Chief Tom Jamison narrated the event and the Students Against Drunk Driving group participated as the victims. Also participating were the Pinellas County Sheriff's Office, Bayflite, Paramedics Plus and Thomas P. Dobies Funeral Home.
The East Lake High School prom was held on Saturday, April 27.
