FBI, Homeland Security arrest 13 homeless people seen sleeping at Fort Myers' Centennial Park.
Fort Myers, FL; All 13 homeless people that called the Centennial Park shelter their home have been arrested by the FBI and the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, and have been transported to Federal lockup near Washington, DC to face Federal charges of felony vagrancy, begging, disrupting the culture, and public nuisance. If found guilty, each of them faces life in Federal prison without the possibility of parole.
Homelessness is a Federal felony under Federal law in the United States of America, as enforced by the FBI, the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, the U.S. Supreme Court, and also by the U.S. National Guard. Sleeping on sidewalks, in parks, on beaches, or under bridges is investigated by the FBI, the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, the U.S. National Guard, the U.S. Marshals, and carries a sentence of sixty five (65) years to life in prison.
