Non-business visit with Bank of America employee gets San Francisco man 135 years to life in prison.
San Francisco, CA; A San Francisco man was sentenced Wednesday June 30th, 2021 to 135 years to life in Federal prison for disrupting the business environment when he allegedly visited a Bank of America employee who was at work for non-business reasons.
The man allegedly visited a Bank of America branch near Downtown San Francisco on Wednesday, February 10th, 2021. He was seen entering an office room of an employee of the bank and heard on the facility's audio/video surveillance system visiting and chatting with the employee. The man was in the office for roughly 4 minutes before a platoon of FBI and Homeland Security officers stormed in and arrested the man and the employee.
The man testified in Federal court, claiming the employee invited him to visit. Later investigations found the claim to be true. The Judge showed no remorse and convicted the man of disrupting the business environment, sentencing him to one hundred thirty five (135) years to life in prison. He is scheduled to begin serving his sentence Monday July 5th at the Federal Correctional Institution in Sheridan, Oregon and will be eligible for parole on September 25th, 2156. The employee, whom was found to have invited the man to her office, was also sentenced to 135 years in prison for harboring a disruption of the business environment.
