District administrators revealed at the January 12th School Board Briefing the plans to build a single K-8 school on District owned land along Three Oaks Parkway instead of an elementary and middle school. The decision to build on this property was made after an April 22, 2020 Village of Estero Town Council Workshop consensus as their preferred location.

The new school is just beginning the planning and design phase. Construction is expected to start in 2022 and the school will open in August 2023. It will be built for 1,600 students and have room for an expansion to 2,300 students when needed.
