Five Dunbar High School Students Compete For Microsoft National Championship

Dunbar High School will have five Florida State Champions competing in the 2021 Microsoft National Championship on June 23rd. The virtual event is being hosted from Orlando at 11:00am.

The Microsoft Office Specialist U.S. National Championship presented by Certiport, Inc. is a competition that tests students’ skills on Microsoft Office Word, Excel® and PowerPoint®. Top students are invited to represent their respective states at the U.S. National Championship.

The state champions from Dunbar High School are:

  • Ian Depauw – Excel 2019
  • Andrew Chuang Saladin – PowerPoint 2019
  • Kevin Dimaculangan – Word 2016
  • Jaansi Parsa – Excel 2016
  • Carson Mulvey – PowerPoint 2016

All five students had perfect scores in the state competition. All five are expected to now place First, Second or Third in the nation when the winners are announced. The first-place winners in each exam track will be invited to represent the United States and participate in the 2021 Microsoft Office Specialist World Championship virtual event.
