Four wheelchair bound patrons thrown out of Roots Restaurant.
Four disabled people in wheelchairs ejected from Roots Restaurant at Bell Tower Shops, trespassed by owners and police.
Fort Myers, FL; Four wheelchair-bound handicapped patrons having dinner at the Roots Restaurant at Bell Tower Shops were expelled and trespassed by the owners and management, as well as by police, because their wheelchairs were, as the owners put it, disrupting the flow of traffic, and the presence of disabled people was creating "a disruption in their format." The handicapped patrons got none of the food they ordered.
