Free Drop-Off Event For Household Hazardous Waste, Bulk Items, Set For March 17 In Fort Myers
The hours are 10 a.m. through 2 p.m.

The City of Fort Myers is partnering with Lee County’s Solid Waste Division to offer residents a convenient and responsible way to dispose of household hazardous waste and bulk items. The free drop-off event takes place on Wednesday, March 17 from 10:00 a.m. through 2:00 p.m. at 9360 Warrior Way (at the intersection of Forum Boulevard and Warrior Way), Fort Myers.

Some of the acceptable materials for hazardous waste drop off include electronics, paint, batteries, pesticides, and propane tanks.
In addition, the Solid Waste division will accept bulk objects such as furniture, appliances and tires.
