Gulf Coast Chamber Orchestra: Mozart, Haydn & Beethoven

The Gulf Coast Chamber Orchestra performs Mozart’s Overture to The Marriage of Figaro, K. 492, Haydn’s Symphony No. 44 in E minor (“Trauersinfonie”), and Beethoven’s Symphony No. 2 in D major, Op. 36.

Patrick Bruce Metheny, an American jazz guitarist and composer, is the leader of the Pat Metheny Group and is also involved in duets, solo works, and other side projects. His style incorporates elements of progressive and contemporary jazz, Latin jazz, and jazz fusion.

Ian Maksin, Cello

He has performed at concert halls throughout the world as a soloist, chamber musician as well as principal cellist of the New World Symphony under direction of Maestro Michael Tilson Thomas.
