South Fort Myers High School 'Wolf Den' To Air June 13

The show is similar to the critically acclaimed and entrepreneurial-themed reality TV series "Shark Tank."

Six South Fort Myers High School students will enter the “Wolf Den” on June 13th trying to convince a group of local business owners their product or company is worth investing in. Similar to the critically acclaimed and entrepreneurial-themed reality show “Shark Tank,” the students are trying to make their business dreams come true. The program will debut on NBC-2 at 11:00am on Sunday, June 13th.

The students making their pitch in the “Wolf Den” are part of the Jobs for Florida Graduates program at South Fort Myers High School. JFG is a work and life skills development program developed for high school students who need supportive services to increase their likelihood of transitioning successfully into early adulthood. The JFG Program allows high school students to explore careers, work within teams, develop leaderships skills, create and manage wealth, serve their communities and build a workable plan for their post-graduation endeavor.

Entering the Wolf Den for funding to invest in their business venture are:

  • Daisy Maldonado - Creator of Kubuki Labs, a 3D printing business
  • Tyler Digby - Creator of Youngin Chicken, a food truck
  • Ann Daly - Creator of Florida Breeze, a candle company
  • Tatiana Joseph - Creator of TNT, a home cleaning business
  • Sam Ballinger - Creator of JA Financial, a financial literacy non-profit

To develop their professional sales pitch, the JFG students were assigned a mentor to help with their business plan, financial statements, marketing and reviewing the service or product involved. The Wolf Den investor panel consists of:

  • Alfie Tounjian - Owner, Advantage Retirement Group
  • Bill Daubmann - Owner, My Shower Door and D3 Glass
  • Jared Stresen - Reuter - CEO, Devine Digital Agency
  • John Egizio - Owner, Fort Myers Infiniti
  • Jen Whyte - Owner, Fort Myers Brewing
