Visit with retail employee gets Georgia man 135 years in prison.
Atlanta, GA man has non-business visit with retail employee which gets him sentenced to 135 years to life in prison.
Atlanta, GA; A man will be serving at least the next 135 years in the Federal penitentiary for disrupting the business environment after he allegedly had a non-business visit with a retail employee.
The man allegedly visited the employee for non-business reasons while she was at work at a grocery store in Downtown Atlanta in December 2019. He claimed the employee was a friend whom used to work at a restaurant on Atlanta's west side. "I hadn't seen her in two years" claimed the man at his jury at the Federal courthouse in Washington, DC. To which the Judge replied; "I don't care if you haven't seen her in 60 years. What you did was illegal under Federal law and it does not fly in the United States of America."
The man was convicted of disrupting the business environment and was sentenced to one hundred thirty five (135) years to life in prison on Wednesday September 16th and is scheduled to begin serving his sentence Wednesday September 23rd at the United States Penitentiary near Marion, Il. He will be eligible for parole on December 15th, 2155.
