5 Cheap Homes for Sale in Gulfport

Here are some of the cheaper homes for sale that Gulfport Patch was able to find using the Zillow search engine on our Gulfport Real Estate Page.

These homes cost less than a college education or a new SUV. But don't expect any newly built homes in these listings. These homes are a handyman's – or handywoman's – dream. What do you think? Are they worth the bargain price?

1.) 801 64th St S LOT 119: At $27,000, it's hard to find a bigger bargain. This is a one-bedroom, one-bathroom mobile home in a 55+ community. It is sure to be ideal for just the right person on a budget.

2.) 5130 5th Ave. South: For $30,000, the buyer gets three bedrooms and two baths in this 1,680 square foot home. It looks like there is some lush landscaping, including a mature oak. This is a short sale, so you better move fast!

3.) 5016 4th Ave. South: The aerial photo reveals little about this $31,000 home. It has two bedrooms, one bath at 874 square feet. It was last sold in 1997 for $43,900. This is a foreclosed home.

4.) 5209 15th Ave. South: At $42,000, the home is a little pricier than some of the others featured here. But look what you get: This is a three-bedroom, one-bath home in a nice neighborhood in the Gulfport/Pasadena Heights neighborhood. It has 1,136 square feet of space, and the roof was replaced in 2006. But it does need new floors, a new bathtub/shower.

5.) 5024 2nd Ave. South: This house looks trim, neat and just dandy. The price? $42,500. Now that's a bargain. It's two bedrooms and one bath, with updated windows, updated bathroom, laminate flooring, blinds, ceiling fans and central air. This is another short sale.
