5 Foreclosed Gulfport Homes for Sale

Two are condominiums, but any of the five properties may be a deal for the buyer.

Hard times do have a silver lining. These foreclosed homes will likely sell for bargain prices. Here's a look at five Gulfport area distressed homes for sale, courtesy of the AOL Real Estate Section.

1.) 4819 Emerson Ave. South: This foreclosed is new to the market – and cheap: $30,000! The home has three bedrooms, one bath, and is slightly more than 1,000 square feet. Built in 1948, it clearly has been rehabbed and looks in fine condition for sale.

2.) 5011 4th Ave.: This four-bedroom, 1.5-bath home is selling for $44,900, and the price may drop further. It has 1,500 square feet of space and a nice-sized lot. Buyers can purchase for as little as 3 percent down.

3.) 2301 York St.: This two-bedroom, two-bath house has 1,300 square feet of space. Built in 2002, it's just two minutes away from the downtown arts district. With vaulted ceilings and an updated kitchen, it is selling for $124,900. But you better move fast on this one. There is an interested buyer and potential contract!

4.) 6020 Shore Blvd.: For sale at $159,900, the asking price may go down on this condominium. This unit is roomy, with 1,450 square feet of space, and two bedrooms with two bathrooms. The condo is in "move-in" condition, with stainless steel appliances in the kitchen, updated bathrooms and hurricane shutters on the windows.

5.) 7920 Sun Island Dr. South: This South Pasadena condo has views of the water plus plenty of space. The unit has three bedrooms and two bathrooms. With 1,575 square feet of space, the asking price is $175,000, but that figure could go down. The kitchen is modern, and one of the bathrooms has a roomy spa-style tub.
