GULFPORT, FL — Gulfport voters headed to the polls Tuesday to elect a Ward 1 city council member, and, with 100 percent of precincts reporting in, April Thanos was declared the unofficial winner.

Dan Liedtke 40.19 percent, 1,488 votes

April Thanos 59.81 percent, 2,214 votes
