GULFPORT, FL — As Pinellas County Sheriff's deputies continue to investigate a fatal Tuesday morning crash in Gulfport, they've released some details about the accident.According to the agency, Shawn Lynch, 43, of St. Petersburg was driving a 2004 Infinity FX35 westbound on 18th Avenue South around 3:35 a.m. Jan. 19, approaching 49th Street South."The driver, traveling at a high rate of speed, crossed over 49th Street, failing to stop at the stop sign," an email from the sheriff's office said. "The driver then drove over the sidewalk onto a grassy area on the west side of 49th Street, alongside Tangerine Avenue."The Infinity continued through the grass and struck a tree.
