Florida Virtual School students take field trip to Gulf Zoo
Online school in Florida takes field trip to zoo
FLVS Full Time, a statewide, online public school serving students in grades Kindergarten-12, recently had its students take a trip to Gulf Breeze to visit the Gulf Breeze Zoo, which has 50 acres of wild life and vegetation. While visiting, they explored the attractions including Giraffe Feeding, Safari Express Train Ride, petting zoo and many more animal enclosures. Students met with zookeepers who provided questions and answer sessions about animals at the zoo. The students had a great time and enjoyed the chance to see some of their virtual classmates face to face!
