Gulfport Firefighter Hurt While Battling Blaze
The firefighter was trying to ventilate a roof when the accident occurred.
An unidentified Gulfport firefighter is in stable condition at Bayfront Medical Center after falling from a roof as he battled a blaze.
The Tampa Bay Times is reporting that the man fell about eight feet. He was trying to ventilate the roof when the accident occurred.Â
Firefighters from St. Petersburg and Gulfport had responded to a house fire at 1724 Scranton St. on Wednesday. Smoke and flames were coming from the attic.
