Gulfport To Host Pulse Nightclub Remembrance Vigil Wednesday
Gulfport invites the community to a Pulse Orlando Nightclub Vigil Wednesday at 6:30 p.m. outside the Gulfport Public Library.

GULFPORT, FL -- Gulfport invites the community to join city officials for a Pulse Orlando Nightclub Vigil Wednesday at 6:30 p.m. outside the Gulfport Public Library, 5501 28th Ave S.
The event is being organized by Gulfport City Council member Paul Ray.
"We will never forget June 12, 2016, when the Pulse tragedy deeply impacted our LGBTQ+ community," said Ray. "The City of Orlando and Orange County government, in collaboration with Pulse, formally dedicated June 12 to the memory and honor of the 49 innocent lives taken at Pulse. Orlando United Day - A Day of Love and Kindness reaffirms the community’s commitment to survivors and loved ones, and recognizes the global compassion and love displayed in the wake of the tragedy."

Gulfport City Council members and representatives from the Gulfport Public Library LGBTQ Resource Center will join the public in honoring those who lost their lives.
