Gulfport Man Cashes In On $1.7 Million Jackpot Triple Play

GULFPORT, FL — The Florida Lottery announced that Jason Hyde, 34, of Gulfport, claimed the $1.7 million jackpot from the Jackpot Triple Play drawing held on Dec. 1 after mailing in his winning ticket to Lottery headquarters in Tallahassee.

Hyde chose to receive his winnings as a one-time, lump-sum payment of $1,467,311.36. He purchased his jackpot-winning Jackpot Triple Play with Combo Quick Pick ticket from Kwik Stop, 5227 22nd Ave. S. in Gulfport. The retailer will receive a bonus commission of $2,000 for selling the jackpot-winning ticket.

Jackpot Triple Play drawings are broadcast on 17 carrier stations throughout the state. Drawings are also available for viewing on the Florida Lottery website and on the Lottery's YouTube channel. Winning numbers are available on the lottery website, at retailers statewide and by phone at 850-921-PLAY.
