Gulfport Merchants Association Appoints New Board Members

GULFPORT, FLORIDA: The Gulfport Merchants Association (GMA) has announced the appointment of four new members to its Board of Directors. Their appointments to the Board are for two-year terms to commence as of January 2017. The GMA extends its thanks and congratulations to these members of the Merchants community for their willingness to serve.

The GMA also extends its thanks to Suzanne King (SIK Promotions) and Daniel Hodge (individual GMA member) for their many years of service to the GMA and its Board, and to the City of Gulfport. They will be stepping down from the Board at the end of their current term through December 2016.

The Gulfport Merchants Association is a 501(c)(6) non-profit organization whose mission is to promote Gulfport’s Waterfront Arts District as a flourishing and ever-growing art, shopping and dining destination in Pinellas County. The GMA provides advertising and promotional opportunities for the Waterfront District and member businesses. The GMA also sponsors and promotes a variety of events throughout the year including First Friday and Third SaturdayArt Walks, the weekly Gulfport Tuesday Fresh Market, the monthly Clothing Swap, and annual events including the Gulfport Fringe Festival, Gulfport Masters Fine Arts Festival, Gulfport’s Get Rescued, Tails at Twilight, Gecko Fest, Gecko Ball, Gecko Crawl, Art Gecko Show, Gulfport Chefs Table and Holiday Hoopla.
