GULFPORT, FL — Gulfport's smallest business is attracting big crowds. Let It Be Ice Cream at 2902 Beach Blvd. is now serving novelty frozen treats to both two-legged and four-legged customers.

The tiny ice cream stand is squeezed in between Gulfport Realty and the Red Hot Tiki Spicy Gourmet Market. Owners Tina Grello and Janet Impastato said the walk-up window is perfectly situated for residents and visitors attending Gulfport's various downtown festivals and monthly art and gallery walks.

Let It Be Ice Cream serves a variety of gourmet prepackaged frozen treats including Haagen-Dazs Bars and Squares, Ben & Jerry's Slices, Kermit's in Key West Key Lime Shoppe, So Delicious Dairy-Free Bars, Outshine Fruit Bars, Solero Organic Fruit Bars and Breyers Carb Smart Bars.

Most offerings are organic and GMO-free, and include bars that are dairy free and low sugar.

There are even frozen yogurt dog treats from The Bear & The Rat Pup Cups available for canine companions.

In addition to the walk-up window, Grello and Impastato will take their frozen treats on the road, offering ice cream cart rentals for special events.

"We offer wholesome options for conscious indulging and every purchase gives you an opportunity to pay it forward to a neighbor and spread a sweet treat and kindness to another," said Grello.

Let It Be Ice Cream opened Aug. 27 but will host its official ribbon-cutting ceremony Tuesday, Sept. 24 at 6:30 p.m., during which customers can sample free treats.
