Do You Use County Parks, Beaches?
Participate in a survey and share your views on county parks.

Pinellas County is asking residents to complete an online survey by Friday, Aug. 17, to help determine who is using the parks, trails and recreational facilities throughout the county.
To complete the survey, go to www.pinellascounty.org/parks.
The survey, conducted and funded through a Communities Putting Prevention to Work grant, will help determine residents’ activity preferences and opinions on safety and cleanliness. The voluntary survey is anonymous and residents may skip any question they choose not to answer.Â

Results will be available at the end of September and will be used to facilitate discussion, provide feedback on concerns residents may have and to guide in improvement or expansion of the parks, trails and recreational facilities.
“Last year’s survey was useful in generating discussion about the use patterns, concerns and desires of park and trail users and helpful in planning improvements,” said Nancy Brown, volunteer program coordinator in Pinellas County Parks and Conservation Resources Department. Last year’s survey was conducted from September to November. “This survey will also give feedback regarding the initiatives, programs and projects that have already been implemented,” she said.
