Gulfport Police Detective Hahn Pham is a member of the department's bike patrol. Pham greeted residents at National Night Out on Tuesday, August 6 at The Gulfport Neighborhood Center.
The bike on display is specially made for public safety officers. It features 30 speeds with larger tires and weighs 26 pounds.
Pham says about 8 to 10 officers are certified for bike patrol.
