Pinellas Deputies, Police To Focus On Drunk Drivers This Weekend
The operation is part of the Pinellas County Sheriff's ongoing commitment to drunk driving deaths.

GULFPORT, FL -- In an effort to reduce drunk-driving injuries and deaths, deputies will conduct a Wolf Pack operation in Pinellas County over the holiday weekend.
Deputies and other law enforcement officers will monitor traffic throughout Pinellas County beginning at 7 p.m. Friday, Dec. 22, and continuing until 5 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 23.
The operation is part of the Pinellas County Sheriff's ongoing commitment to reduce deaths, injuries and property damage associated with traffic crashes related to impaired driving. The goal of the Wolf Pack is to educate people and create public awareness about the dangers of operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol and any chemical or controlled substances.

Pinellas County Sheriff’s deputies, in conjunction with the Clearwater Police Department, Gulfport Police Department, Kenneth City Police Department, Largo Police Department, Pinellas Park Police Department, St. Petersburg Police Department and G4S Prisoner Transport, will be patrolling heavily traveled roadways in Pinellas County throughout the weekend.
