St. Pete Man Arrested In Year-Old Gulfport Murder
Detectives with the Gulfport Police Department have made an arrest in the July 4, 2017, murder of Joshua Monroe, 31.
GULFPORT, FL -- Detectives with the Gulfport Police Department have made an arrest in the July 4, 2017, murder of Joshua Monroe, 31.
Detectives arrested Marquelle Drymon of St. Petersburg on Friday, Oct. 5, 15 months and one day after the Monroe's shooting death. Drymon is charged with second-degree murder.
According to detectives, Monroe and Drymon met for a drug buy. They became embroiled in a physical argument culminating with Drymon reportedly shooting Monroe multiple times in front of a home in the 2600 block of Miriam Street South, Gulfport, according to detectives.
