Concert for Donations: Former Broadway Singer Victor R. Helou will perform a one-man show on Wednesday, August 28 at the Gulfport Senior Center. The price for a ticket is a non-perishable food item or small grocery gift card.
Argentine Tango: The Gulfport Casino Ballroom hosts Argentine Tango Tuesdays with a "First Timers" class beginning at 6:30 p.m. Beginners are at 7 p.m. with Traditional Milonga/Practica at 8 p.m. Cost is $7 per person.Â
Volleyball Clinics This Week:Â BeVolley is hosting two more volleyball clinics at Gulfport Beach on Wednesday, August 28. Drier Weather on the Way – Sort Of: Ready to dry out after all the recent storms? You might be in luck, but don’t count on avoiding rain all together. Forecasters anticipate rain chances of about 30 percent in the afternoon and evening hours today, Aug. 27. On the upside, the torrential, widespread showers we’ve experienced recently are not on tap as drier air moves into the region.
