2 Men Offer Sex, Expose Themselves To Undercover Cops: Deputies

POLK COUNTY, FL — Two local men face indecent exposure charges by the Polk County Sheriff's Office after they exposed themselves to undercover detectives at separate parks Tuesday.

The first suspect, 74-year-old Guy Wellington Rindge of Lakeland, is accused of suggesting sexual engagement to an undercover male detective as he showed his penis to him and masturbated, investigators said. Rindge was arrested on charges of indecent exposure, committing a lewd act and offer/agree to commit a lewd act.

Later on Tuesday, 82-year-old James Haskiell of Haines City, did the same thing that Rindge did to an undercover officer at Lake Fannie Boat Ramp. He was arrested on charges of indecent exposure, committing a lewd act and offer/agree to commit a lewd act. According to deputies, in 2004, Haskiell was arrested with the same charges at the same location.

"Polk County parks are places where families and children can enjoy the outdoors," Sheriff Grady Judd said. "They should never have to encounter disgusting acts like these. We will continue to patrol our public parks and to arrest people who publicly engage in lewd activity."
