$20 Adoption Day at SPCA In Lakeland

LAKELAND, FL — Dogs, cats, kittens and puppies are available one day this weekend for $20 adoption fees through SPCA Lakeland's Tri-Mega Adoption event at three different Polk County locations.

If you're battling isolation loneliness because of the coronavirus pandemic, or if you're looking to bring home a furry family member you have the opportunity to take a cat or a dog home for $20 on Saturday, July 18, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., at the following locations participating in the Tri-Mega Adoption event:

• SPCA Florida, 5850 Brannen Rd. S, Lakeland
• Polk County Animal Control, 7115 De Castro Rd., Winter Haven
• Humane Society of Polk County, 3195 Dundee Rd., Winter Haven

The $20 adoption fee also applies to off-site Polk County locations:

SPCA Florida off-sites:

• Petco Lakeland
• PetSmart Lakeland.

Polk County Animal Control off-sites:

• Pet Supermarket in Bartow, Winter Haven, and Kissimmee.

SPCA asks that when you visit to please wear a mask and maintain an appropriate social distance from others.
