2017 NFL Pro Bowl: What To Know Before You Go
The NFL's all-star game returns to its NFC vs. AFC format when it kicks off in Orlando.

ORLANDO, FL – While the Atlanta Falcons and the New England Patriots are in Houston preparing for Super Bowl LI, the biggest starts from the rest of the NFL are in Orlando to take part in the 2017 NFL Pro Bowl.
The game returns to Florida for the first time since 2010, when Miami hosted both the Pro Bowl and the Super Bowl in back-to-back weeks. It’s the fourth time overall the Sunshine State has hosted the NFL’s all-star game.
Here’s what area residents need to know before you go to the 2017 NFL Pro Bowl:

Date and Time
The 2017 NFL Pro Bowl is set to kick off Sunday, Jan. 29 at 8 p.m. The schedule leading up to the start of the game is:
- 3 p.m.: Parking lots open
- 4 p.m.: Security checkpoints open
- 4 p.m.: GameDay Fan Plaza open
- 5:30 p.m.: Stadium gates open
- 6 p.m.: NFL FLAG Championship Game
- 8 p.m.: Pro Bowl kickoff
Location
The game will take place at the newly renovated Camping World Stadium (formerly the Citrus Bowl), 1 Citrus Bowl Place in Orlando.

Tickets

Television
For fans who can’t make it to the game, the Pro Bowl will be televised on ESPN and ESPN Deportes.
Buccaneers and Dolphins players in the Pro Bowl
The Miami Dolphins will have four players representing the AFC in the 2017 NFL Pro Bowl while the Tampa Bay Buccaneers will have two players on the NFC squad. No Jacksonville Jaguars were named to the AFC Pro Bowl roster.
- Miami Dolphins: WR Jarvis Landry, RB Jay Ajayi, DE Cameron Wake, IL Ndamukong Suh,
- Tampa Bay Buccaneers: WR Mike Evans, IL Gerald McCoy
Format
For the first time since 2013, the Pro Bowl will return to its NFC vs. AFC format instead of a fantasy draft conducted by team captains.
Pro Bowl Goes Autism-Friendly
The NFL is partnering with A-OK Autism during the 2017 Pro Bowl to provide toolkits (I’M A-OK Sensory Sacks) to make Camping World Stadium and all game-day activities more user-friendly for fans on the autism spectrum.
The sensory sacks include autism identification, noise-cancelling headphones and a game-day schedule. The kits can be found at the A-OK table located inside Gate E, adjacent to the elevators on the field level.
GameDay Fan Plaza
The GameDay Fan Plaza, open to all fans with a ticket to the Pro Bowl game, features sponsor activities, the NFL Shop, games, youth activities, food trucks, the Pro Bowl Trophy and more. The plaza will be open from 4 to 6:45 p.m. at Tinker Field, located on the Camping World Stadium complex. Attractions include:
- High School Marching Bands: Local bands will play before the game in the plaza.
- Pep Squads: Pep squads will provide fun activities and contests.
- Cheerleaders: Meet and take photos with the Pro Bowl cheerleaders
- Mascots: Visit with your favorite NFL team mascots
- Temporary Tattoo Stations: Gear up with NFL team and Pro Bowl temporary tattoos
- Look Like a Pro: Get your picture taken inside a body-cast mold in an official NFL uniform
- Pro Bowl Trophy Photo Op: Take an up-close photo with the Pro Bowl Trophy
- Pro Bowl Photo Frames: Capture pictures with family and friends in giant picture frames
- Live DJ: Folk-inspired rock ‘n’ roll band The Sisterhood will perform live
- Food trucks: Food trucks will offer everything from cheesesteaks, tacos, doughnuts and barbecue
- NFL Shop Trailer: Shop for your favorite NFL and Pro Bowl gear
