Boil Water Notice Issued For A Section Of Polk County
If you drink water from the tap, refrain from doing that for the next 48 hours due to a boil water notice. Drink bottled water instead.

POLK COUNTY, FL — Polk County Utilities issued a precautionary boil water notice due to a water main break in the Christina area. The utilities advised that all water users drink bottled water and/or boil water for cooking and drinking.
Polk Utilities told Patch that 900 homes in the Christina area have been affected by the water main break.
This notice will remain in effect for 48 hours. It was issued at 9 p.m., Friday night.
