Box Truck Crashes And Shuts Down SR 400: Highway Patrol
The Florida Highway Patrol closed down a portion of SR 400 after a box truck ran into a parked vehicle on the shoulder, troopers said.

POLK COUNTY, FL — A 33-year-old Davenport man caused early morning slow-downs in the area of State Road 400 on Tuesday after he lost control of a box truck, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
Investigators said the driver drove westbound on State Road 400 near mile marker 57 when he lost control of the vehicle and ran onto the shoulder crashing into an abandoned Jeep, and then hitting trees parallel with the roadway.
Officials closed down portion of State Road 400 around an hour to remove both vehicles. No injuries were reported by the Florida Highway Patrol.
