Flipped-Over Trailers On I-4 Cause Massive Delays
Drivers experienced long wait times on Interstate 4 Friday morning due to a truck pulling two trailers that flipped over in Polk County.
POLK COUNTY, FL — Two flipped-over trailers caused traffic delays on Friday morning for Polk County drivers on Interstate 4 near State Road 570, the Florida Highway Patrol said.
The trailer combination that was pulled by a truck began to fishtail at 11:26 a.m., deputies said.
The fishtailing caused the truck and trailers to drive off to the outside shoulder just before the vehicles flipped, blocking lanes and causing the entire westbound lanes of I-4 to close, authorities said.
